Arrived at 5 pm from Madrid and went inside the venue. Nice talking to the sound engineer (some "communication problems" with the Valencia technician so I acted as the translator). Going up and down in the venue attending the press conference and going back to the stage for the soundcheck. Funny listening to Craig singing "Beyond the pale". Thanks again to Dave for letting us in and for the "honour" of being in first row (I was scared of getting caught with the DAT recorder so close to the security guards but survived...). Wayne kicked the micro when he approached us during "Deliverance" but fortunately the copy came out just fine (same as all the others). Nice time with Ricardo there, cool man!!!!. Too bored for a second interview in the Valencia TV channel with Manolo so we drove back to Madrid.

"Nice fan" from The Mission who was asking us the name of the guys from the band...a minute later he gave Wayne and Craig an award from the Mission fan club...better to have enemies than fans like that...

Anyway, guess that's enough guys. Nice having the memories back and going back to my ass to enjoy a pile of DATs until the next tour starts or the live album comes out (I noticed a TASCAM DA-20 working hard during each of the concerts I attended and well connected to the soundboard...).

Some "extra" thanks go again to James (Nottingham) and Craig (see you during the Fields tour pal!!!!) and to my wife for encouranging me to see these guys live...She said, "get the hell out of here and go and meet them, if Wayne kicks your ass...you can kick his ass too!!!!!". Cheers Erika. You're an angel...

Thanks Carlos for giving me a hand in the lab while I was away. Thanks for being interested in listening each of the stupidities I did on each of the nights during the shows. Now, let's go and kick some asses in the Actinomycetes field (Nonomuria first?????)...

Double extra thanks go to Manolo...can't imagine if they were still playing, in which country we would have ended...blood brother???...
