It's 3:30am Thursday morning and I think esKIMo, Melanie from Australia, and Jaymo are still with the band and crew winding down at Scott's house. Kristian, I believe, went home, and I of course just got home.
...will post proper song lists and what not, but quickly, highlights for me included meeting the other MishListers and the Mish crew; listening to Nightrider play Zeppelin songs on an old acoustic; a pillow fight on the big, comfy, old, sweaty, backstage couch with Wayne and his daughter Dylan; Hearing Wayne ask Dylan "would you like to come watch Daddy do soundcheck?" and hearing her say "No! Daddy's too loud;" Watching Dawn fly Dylan to Mars and fight aliens; Seeing Mark work on the laptop and seeing his digital camera; joking with Craig and Scott about the Vietnamese food battle they had days ago; and a very emotional show at the Galaxy Theatre. ...arriving at the Sunset Strip House of Blues and seeing Mike do soundcheck (which included selections from Quadrophenia); seeing Jules (the sweetest girl ever - has to be!) put up the merchandise displays; meeting Dan Akroyd in the crowd while GLJ played; Watching the filming of the Mish for the internet broadcast; and getting all of my friends up to the VIP room afterwards to meet a very happy Mission after a particularly spectacular show. It was a wonderful two days. Thank you all.-ed

LOS ANGELES Yes got home by 3 am. I was very tired I was falling asleep on the couch last night. Trying to puts thoughts together. Memories that stand out Yes the emotional Galaxy show. I had tears in my eyes when he started and when he stopped I could not stop crying for three songs, Mark's energetic playing, Watching my very sweet but very pretentious and jaded ultra trendy friend dancing like a 16 yr. old kid. watching the look on a little 17yr. olds face as he got in to meet wayne for the first time. But the best thing was introducing my boys to the band during sound check at House of Blues. Craig was so cute the way he was trying to get my son Alistair to stop being shy, and Wayne being so sweet about Evan's handicap. Mark finally getting to meet the kids David kept talking about. Even though they were exhausted the were the best
I wished I could have been there at the galaxy early.
I will try to put all my thoughts together and write later.

First off, to Wayne and crew thanks for Severina at the Galaxy.Mark is awesome.This is actually the first time I`ve seen him play and he is fucking great.I especially like the e-bow on Wasteland,is that your genius or has it always been done that way?Met only a couple of you from the list,(left early in Santa Ana for the kids sake),plus didn`t hang out too late at the House of Blues(not the partier I once was).EsKimo nice to meet you, don`t trip but until Tues I thought you were a girl,imagine my surprise!!Melanie ,would have talked a bit longer but the waitress was none too happy about us blocking her path . Is it true that you came all the way from Australia? After surgery? Wow, I guess you already know that you must be a bit crazy(kidding).Stood in the back during GLJ and right beside me was Mr.Astbury,That guy must have a pact with the Devil because he looks like he dosen`t age,infact he looks younger than he used to.Can`t say the same for Mr.Duffy ,waited for the Valet with him on the way out.I`m fairly certain the guy with him was Steve Jones(SexPistols),haven`t seen him since the days of the Scream nightclub.Those of you waiting to see them get ready ,they have never sounded better.I really mean that.I`m not just being a myopic fan here.My advice to Wayne and crew would be to get in the studio while you`ve got all this reborn passion.Oh yes I almost forgot ,those Missionuk.com pens,there`s a clever way to sell paraphernalia,errrrrrrr writinginstruments.

Hi there boys n girls , got back at 6.00 am today (what ever day this is ! ) , totaly bollocksed , partly thanks to joey bag o donuts last night .WAY TOO MUCH to write on what has happened in the last 7 days. To be honest its all one big gig that is hard to seperate into days n places . Maybe i can just write odd things that will come to mind in the next few days . Right now the highlights ,apart from great gigs themselves , are ; seeing Mr. Hinkler again and for him to remember me was the best ! Metting Tim Palmer at last , talking with Billy Duffy ( cult ), Steve Jones (sex pistols ) , Dan Akroid, being Wayne Hussey for a few moments on stage in L.A. , all the great people that i've met since this all started ,special mentions go to Mike Peters and Jules two of the most nicest people in the world , GLJ ,Dawn and Mark for letting Rachelle take the photos for the Mish web site tour images , and being part of the Mission crew(even if it was only load/unload and be a'gofor') thank you guys . Anyway just helped Wayne drop off the infamous tour bus and dropped him off back home , so thats it for now MUST get an early tonight as its back to the real world tomorrow , bye for now ........
