Some useful reference materials for the exotic customizer, sent to me by
Juanita Snyder! Thank you Juanita!
pix 1: excellent page of illustrations between Quaggas & other similiar
Plains type varieties.

pix 2: shows how the dorsal stripe appears on the Quagga

pix 3: shows the definate feet or pastern marking these animals have

pix 4: Juanita's OS Hellabrunn Quagga museum piece, brought back from
South Africa for her by a friend. Quagga's overall base body color can
range from a light golden fawn to a red chestnut to a dark brown, with
similiar striping colors. If you're painting a Quagga model tho, keep
in mind that the head/neck stipes are going to be a tad darker in
shading than the back/barrel/chest areas.
