Resins by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig

What can I say about Sarah that hasn't already been said? She burst into the model hobby about a dozen years ago & quickly revolutionized the state of the art, taking customizing to new heights. Never one to be stuck up or stingy with information, Sarah has also been willing to share her knowledge and techniques via a booklet published some years back by Cascade Models and an ongoing column in "the Hobby Horse News". She is, in my opinion, THE BEST in the hobby and her work must truly be seen in person to be appreciated - photos just do not capture the amount of detail on these pieces. Needless to say her work is highly sought after, commands hefty prices and pretty much mops up in the show arena.

OZYMANDIUS - Very limited resin cast version of Sarah's famous NAN Champion custom "Orinocco" painted to a dappled rose grey by Sarah (2005)

ALASTAIR - mixed TB gelding, Kathi Bogucki "Showman" resin painted dappled zebra dun by Sarah (1999) Alastair was named Champion Artist's Resin Sport Horse at the June 23, 2000 NAN! I am absolutely delighted to have the first model I have ever sent to compete at NAN bring home a Championship & my deepest thanks go out to Colette Robertson for proxy showing him for me and taking the photo of him winning his trophy for me!!!

GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS - Silver dapple minimal tobiano American Saddlebred stallion Kathi Bogucki "Dozen Roses" resin painted by Sarah (2002)

IMAJICA - Flaxen chestnut sabino Arabian mare, "Saadiquah" resin sculpted and painted by Sarah (2004)

DESIRE - Boy does her name fit her - I lusted after her since I first saw her in Julie Kuiper's web page in Julie's private collection. Thanks to Molly Landholm this doll is now one of my most prized possessions. She's one of the sought-after Leslie Kathman "Loki" resins resculpted & painted by Sarah to an amazing dappled dun going rose grey. I think she's one of Sarah's best!! 2002 NAN Champion AR Other Pony!

AURENS - Animal Artistry mini trotting Arabian stallion sculpted by Donna Chaney and painted a dappled chestnut sabino by Sarah (2002)

ALAKAZAM Amarna resin Arabian stallion mold repainted to a lovely dappled rose grey by Sarah! (1994) He was the first piece of her work I ever got and back then I was convinced it was the only one I would ever be lucky enough to get. Boy am I glad I was wrong!
