Warning to all model horse collectors - please beware of a buyer by the name of "Jessica Axelson" of Sweden also known as "Vivaca Spong" (possibly her mother, it was the name the paypal payment came from).
In March 2006 she purchased a Vintage Custom by Jason Ross a/k/a Nancy Strowger of a chestnut painted, haired and remade Breyer Little Bit Arab name "Amir Maid" (see photo below). She paid by paypal and I sent the piece via Global Express on April 1, 2006, fully insured and requiring a signature for delivery.
In early July of 2006 without ANY notification Paypal suddenly did a charge back and took back all the money I had recieved (in two payments - one fo rthe model & one of the postage) PLUS the fees they had initially taken out PLUS additional fees claiming it was unathorized. I found out that Jessica also did this to at least 3 other people including a large German Breyer dealer. Jessica even had the nerve to brag about ripping off the dealer on her myspace page (post since removed but not before a number of people including myself captured screen shots) and posted photos of the models she stole on her webshots page, all connected to the same email address that she had used to make the purchases and that the paypal payments were sent from (almostgorgeous@hotmail.com).
We have been contesting these charges and have filled copies of all documents pertaining to this with the Swedish Police who are investigating so with any luck she will be brought to justice. Paypal has since reimbursed me for the 2nd payment of the postage alone but I still have not been repaid for the model itself.
This is the horse in question - if you see it please realize that it is STOLEN PROPERTY and involved in a police investigation. If you see it offered for sale please contact me immediately - thank you!

Sadly due to this I will no longer accept any paypal payments as it seems just too risky but checks and money orders are fine. I am slowly selling off my collection - I will list pieces for sale on the Model Horse Sales Page (click here to see my current ads) and am open to serious offers on rare pieces (tho for exceptional pieces I would have to receive very tempting offers to part with them, otherwise I will just hang on to them for the forseeable future)
